With over 160 million people, Bangladesh maintains strong prospects for extended economic growth. Bangladesh already surging garment, pharmaceutical, and software industries. Bangladesh has also begun to construct large infrastructure projects, large electrical power plants, mega bridges to address domestic and regional needs ultimately for the improvement of the economy. According to the World Bank, The Bangladesh Development Update, April 2016 notes that Bangladesh economy remained strong and resilient despite external and internal challenges. Bangladesh is among the top 12 developing countries who achieved 6 plus percent growth in 2016. By any standards, Bangladesh economy is doing well. Also, according to AFC universe (Asia Frontier Capital) Bangladesh is overtaking soon Cambodia and Myanmar.

To meet above economic challenges or opportunities, Bangladesh must need to build its infrastructure accordingly. Bangladesh has to improve its water ways, motor ways, as well as it has to improve on hydraulic management like Barrage, Damp. It has to invest in Power Plants, Ports and others.
